Rebecca Homes Ltd was originally developed to provide the people we support of The Mount a high quality home with lots of activities and a high quality standard of care. The Director of the Company back in 2001 had viewed care homes and his family had worked in care and all believed that much better could be achieved.
The Director decided to provide his own home that he resided in, to be developed as a care home in order for the people we support to have the same standard of home as he had. Also the Director and his family wanted to provide a Company that is a better place to work for staff. We believe this has been achieved and is demonstrated by a low staff turnover.
The home the Director resided in, The Mount, is in a rural setting, with country walks, games room, relaxation room, large bedrooms and much more. The Company has grown and adapted over time to improve following quality audits and to meet the needs of the users of Rebecca Homes Services.
To boost self-esteem and develop independent living skills within the clients, in a relaxed, safe, stimulating and welcoming environment, thus achieving full potential capacity in all areas of living.
Rebecca Homes Ltd is an independent private care provider, which currently comprises of our care home; the Mount, a shared tenancy house, community support and a holiday home. As of October 2010 The Mount is registered with CQC, previously registered with CSCI since March 2002. The Mount has 10 registered bedrooms, with bedroom 10 being passed on passed on the 30th July 2014.
“I am glad that I am at the Mount with staff that I know and that I can get on with and also trust very much”
Previously the Mount had five registered places, an extra bedroom was registered in 2005. During 2006 and 2007 the company had undergone changes in order to meet the needs of individuals using our service. A supported living project was developed. Community services followed and has developed into the surrounding areas of Cannock, Rugeley and Burton upon Trent. We endeavour to have continuity of staff to ensure a personal approach to the people we support from children to adults, giving quality of life to families and individuals alike.
